Out of nowhere I can't open any of my folders because I keep getting a prompt about SmartWebPrintingOC. If I keep hitting cancel eventually the folder will open but no matter what I do I can't view my photos or play music.

I don't know how whatever it is got on here? The only thing I did different this morning was tried to update Google Chrome which was prompted by my avast antivirus, which by the way, failed.

I tried a system restore and it would NOT restore. I ran a full system scan with Malwarebytes, no infections. I also did a full scan with avast, also coming up all clear.

I attached two photos of the SmartWebPrintingOC prompts.

Thanks.

Once again I panicked and went straight to you guys, which by the way Thanks again all all the jams you got me out of in the past. After fooling around around I tried Ccleaners registry clean up. Worked like a charm and all is well. No I can sleep tonight....LOL.

Got a good night's sleep?? yahoo!

If that dang HP bloatware crops up again, there are apparently a number of ways to get rid of it or at least disable it. Hopefully Ccleaners did the trick though!
