NJBest, your image crashed Chrome twice. lol. Tried internet explorer, which didn't crash, but also didn't let me see the image.

Strange. It's a picture of the orion nebula that I found on Wikipedia. I use it as my background across multiple monitors.

Firefox doesn't like it either and I'm not exactly using an off the shelf comp either. That's a 324MP image.

It crashed my chrome-based Slimjet a couple of times too. It would not load page 3 of the thread at all. On Firefox now and seeing nothing where you posted. At least with ff, I can see pge 3. Curious to know, are you seeing it on your browser..... what browser are you using?

I took this myself. Photo taken in the black hills along the spearfish scenic byway.

Due to the size of the image I would suggest it's simply lack of RAM. That image might be 500MB to 1 GB in size and when decompressed could be 10 times that.

I was able to see NJBest's wallpaper on both Chrome and Firefox. The compressed image is not too big (for an image that size) at 23MB.

If the image is 324MP, as stated earlier, you would need ~2.4GB of RAM to display the image (uncompressed).

It's an absolutely beautiful image. Thanks for sharing!
