I don't really see any difference between Edge and IE11. Since there is still no ad blocker in Edge, I'll continue to use Chrome.

Keep in mind we are talking about Internet Explorer in Windows 10, not Edge
In my Win10, all three shortcuts lead to Edge and not IE as in 8.1. Needed to do a search for it and then pin it taskbar as it is not done by default.

Ok, I don't know how but I did get my file, edit, view, tools options back in my toolbar, and found a page how to lock my desktop taskbar,so now that's done. You can bet that I put Windows 10 for Dummies for Seniors on reserve at my library too, but it's on order since it won't be available until later this month, lol!

I don't use anything from Google SPYWARE!

But you stated to open a browser in order to open another browser instead of simply pinning it to the taskbar.

I don't see where I said any such thing, what I did say was "Internet Explorer is done, but if you do a search for it in Windows 10 I believe it's still there and usable for now."

What you stated was by guess. What I stated was stated by actual usage. At least now the OP is on the correct path to learning Win10.

Can't find a dang thing, and totally despise Edge... the new internet browser, with no top toolbar, plus all of your R-Click options are gone!

As soon as they open this morning I am calling to ask how to find my IE browser, as it is not in my start menu!
fyi: Since the computer is native 8.1, you can restore it back to 8.1 and download the following link which will make it look like Win7.

The best alternative Start menus for Windows 10
Download Classic Shell 4.0 | PCWorld

Download location ( do not download with Win10 on computer as they don't like each other)

It was an educated guess and it was correct, so what are you whining about. Adding the favorites bar in Edge was not a guess, it is fact.
