So I have a UHD monitor and Notebook with a UHD display - all Windows 10 machines. The crispness, color depth, and all that is great. However the greatest peev I have is Remote Desktop scaling. This just doesn't seem to a good work around for conecting to other computers and having the display so small it's not even usable. Also, some apps just don't seem to play nice on UHD monitors (sometimes pop up dialogs scroll off the screen, some parts of the window are so small you can't really click in them, etc.
So I'm curious, how are others dealing with these types of scaling issues? I know about scaling the windows desktop so things like browsing are much more readable, but other apps like Remote Desktop doesn't seem to play very well.
Reduce your display resolution or use a use a different remote control application. There is a zoom feature in the RDP client if you right click on the title bar, but it makes things look really bad. You'll find a sweet spot that is just right to reduce the blurriness but it will be far from the clarity of the native resolution.

Yeah, I guess I can evaluate 3rd party pay for RDP tools ( I know there are a couple freeware ones also). The UHD issues feels like the whole Windows missing start button in Windows 8 and it may take a while to sort out. I do find myself going back to non-UHD monitors to remote work done.

Well I found a 3rd party app that looks very promising. It's called RoyalTS. I would say it's breathed of fresh air in my RDP woes. It's $35 so not unreasonable in price. I'm going to keep testing it and if all goes well will buy it.
[UPDATE]
I believe there's a free version to this. Just a couple hours of use and I am *HOOKED*. I nearly shed a tear because now my beautiful UHD screens are 100% usable with RDP computers again. There are so many other nice features in this product that I would buy it anyway to support the company.
