Whenever I use Google Maps, some of the streets are not labelled, so I have to zoom in or out, or move sideways, to get the label for certain streets to appear. I've seen this on many different devices.

Is there any way to get the streets to all be labelled all the time?

I think they do this because it would be too slow when you move around, to redraw all the street names. But if you're not moving for a while, they should get filled in.

Not all streets are labeled. Sometimes you do need to use zoom AND look for the name on other areas of the street. (move the map sideways)

When the internet connection is too slow, you might drive faster than your car icon on the map. I missed many exits that way.

Major streets are often not labelled. Sometimes even freeways. The label will always appear if I zoom in or out.

This is as designed and a behavior you cannot modify.

Another point is the name of the street. May be too long for the size that is being displayed, until you enlarge it. Also, if the map is congested with all the street names, it blots out the actual streets, start looking like a black blob in some area's.

Well it doesn't display street names often, even if it's not crowded with other stuff.
Something is simply wrong.

If looking for a specific street, type its name into the search box. Map will go there with a icon pointing to it.

It depends on the level of magnification.

They have so many errors on their maps, who gives a crap?

I use other online maps as well as paper ones.
