Search Google for "wiki Lou Fillipo" without the quotes. He just passed away and so he's in the news. I've heard that malware writers use such opportunities to spread their crap but haven't seen it first hand. The results page is changing constantly and many of the links look legit from the list, but will redirect you upon clicking. Of course, running Firefox and NoScript, nothing can happen so its interesting to watch it evolve. I downloaded the .exe from one site and AVG 8.5 says it's OK. I'm going to let Microsoft Security Essentials take a look at it on another machine in a minute. If this proof that Firefox and NoScript is the only way to surf the net, I don't know what is.

PS. I'm not responsible for the giant piles of manure those of you running Internet Explorer will jump into if you try this.

Update: Scanned it on another PC with Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes. MSSE says "no problem" while Malwarebytes identifies it as Rogue.CyberSecurity.

This is why you don't rely on anti-malware software to protect you from your own stupidity.
