hi all

Been a while since i posted how is everyone i hope good my fellow CT PEOPLE
i have question for all that have been through this or experienced this
at the airport with body scanners i read a lot of horrifying things about it.
from what i read & my back round these things are dangerous with radiation
20 times more powerful than an x ray.and they store pic of your dna thats pretty bad

how many of you have been through
these things? from what i read at airport web sites you can opt for a
pat down body search has anyone gone this & what did it entail did they take you in a

room or something and how were you treated i hear they are not very nice
how long did it take and what did they make you do? my concern is some of the people in

my family had and have bouts with cancer as well as my wife. and we want to fly
when we move back to CT. just dont want to go through an embarrassing situation if you

know what i mean. a friend of mine where i live is in law enforcment and he told
me when he flew they treated him kind of bad and made it sound like it was
mandatory to go through the scanner from LA to NY.pLEASE GIVE me your best feedback
concerning this matter and options we will be going from CA to ct. i checked
the train it takes almost 6 days wow thats a long time dont know if they have these
scanners but my parents are up in age and would be to much for them and when i
checked the train route from ca to ct it involves a 5 hour bus ride and changing
trains 3 times with layovers of about 3 hours that would be rough on my parents.if
anyone knows of a web site with more info or any other options please let me know.
There have been a lot of complaints made by travelers with these things to TSA
the story about the little girl is just heart breaking that was harrassed with this
situation.

Take Care God Bless

I also read about horrifying things that terrorists do on airplanes. Go ahead and take the train, you will probably be exposed to just as much radiation while talking on your cell phone during the cross country trip.

You might want to post this in the Travel forum as this doesn't have anything to do with the state of CT. You'll probably get more info.
