After 20 years as a very small business in Stamford, we're going move to smaller quarters and must dispose of a lot of our office furniture.

Any suggestions as to wholesale buyers? and/or people who will haul the unsold furniture to the dump?

You could list it on Craigslist and see if anyone wants to buy some or all of it.

There's a lot of this type of merchandise available in the marketplace today.

Unless your office furniture is of premium quality and in exceptional condition, it has very little market value.

You could try selling it on Craig'sList, or contact used office furniture brokers directly for their bid ... but my bet is that they're not going to justify a trip to pick-up your stuff for just a few pieces.

As far as disposal, perhaps there's a handyman service in your area? Or the "two guys and a truck" type clean-up service?

I believe Salvation Army will do curbside pickup. But I'm not sure what office furniture they'll accept.
