I moved to Milford from Texas a few months ago and have decided I want to get a roommate to share the house I'm renting. But I have no idea where to turn to find a sane, clean, responsible, non-partier roommate! I'm a Fairfield U grad student, but so far no luck through the school, and I'm trying to avoid craigslist if I can....any big churches with roommate listings? Or service organizations? Somewhere that has a higher chance of bringing me a quality person...
Milford is not far from Yale. Try contacting their housing office. You might also try other universities including Sacred Heart, University of Bridgeport, Albertus Magnus and Quinnipiac. I do agree with mkiv808 though, roomates are a crapshoot. Jay
Try Blackrock Church in Farifield. They have a service on Sunday nights (Sanctuary) specifically for folks between 18-35 from 6:00-7:30pm. Typically gets 150-200 people in that age group each week.

What??? Did you read the original post? The OP is looking for a roommate, not a church to attend. Jay
One of the OP's suggestions was for a big church that had roommate listings. The one I listed does.
