Oh goodie, another useless plan that will only take 10 years to get finished. It's been 14 years since the last one and they are not done and a lot of it never came to fruition even with half a billion in state money. So in 24 years, with two plans and tons of public money will the city finally get where it was supposed to be?

What happened to the greenberg plan they had done and paid for? Did they lose it?

Were they supposed to built a condo, a 600 foot tower... where the YMCA was?

I know downtown is demanding for more apartment...all the downtown residentials are 90% full. That is a very positive thing for Hartford.

If you want to see what progress looks like, look at Manhattan. It seems like everything in CT cities takes decades to happen.

Of course not, but there's a big difference in how development is handled. Things take forever in CT, especially when the state government is involved. Look at the highway projects.

I wouldn't say Hartford would turn into Manhattan , but maybe White Plains or New Brunswick in terms of Quality of life and City life.
