I wonder if the high school had water available for everyone and cooling stations for the elderly. Most heat casualties can be prevented simply by drinking water.

This may sound gross, but if you urine is anything but clear or near clear you NEED to drink more water, especially in the hot weather. Avoid cafine and alcohol when it'r really hot too. That will only make your dehydration worse.
