route 136 Fairfield (Westport: station, metro, area)

Default route 136 Fairfield
Can anyone tell me if traveling to the Westport MetroNorth station down route 136 through Fairfield in the morning/evening is busy?
Is the traffic better/worse at any other time of day?

It is busy but it moves well. The area is pretty rural in character. Your problems will be more when you get into Westport and near the station in Saugatuck. Really not too bad at all though. Jay
