I was wondering if there are any good places to see Cherry blossoms in Eastern/Southeastern CT? I am looking to see them next weekend (Weekend of April 5th-7th). I will be in the East Haddam/Lyme area of CT. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Try calling the Connecticut College Arboretum in New London. Maybe they have some there. But your time period is too early.
Cherry blossoms don't bloom until mid April in CT. Wooster Square , New Haven has a cherry blossom festival every year mid April. Check the internet to see when it is planned for this year if you're interested.
Wooster SQ in New Haven and Branch Brook Park in Newark which is the second largest collection in the US after DC are 2 great areas to see blossoms. Some of the older neighborhoods in New York City have a decent amount of blossoms..
