Hi everyone
Very excited to be moving to Fairfield very soon!

My job relocation is flexible but Mount Kisco is the more likely location now, at least temporarily.

Technically its a 45 min drive but I know to allow longer for traffic. I've been playing around on Mapquest trying to find routes that avoid 95/Merritt as much as possible but don't have any knowledge of these backroads yet. Looks like it might be an option to take the Merritt from Fairfield to New Canaan, then up 124 to Pound Ridge?

Start time on the job would probably be about 9.45am so I do have the luxury of leaving from home a little later than the average commuter.

Any advice input on route options greatly appreciated. Thx!

Even arriving at 9:45AM you will be going through the Merritt at a really bad time.

Unfortunately this is a rough commute on 95/15, especially in the afternoon.

You could try something like this route: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/41.1...41.2042616!3e0

It looks longer and is pretty much all backroads, but will likely be a lot easier than the Merritt.
