I am interested in investing in a condo (1 bed, 1 bath) in Westchester County area and currently thinking of these areas-Mount Vernon, Yonkers or Mount Kisco. Would appreciate anyone provide information related to the following:
--Are most apartment for sale coop or condo in these areas?
--Which town has the best commute to Manhattan and ammenities, i.e. shopping, restaurant, etc.
--Are there any part of these town walkable to Metro North?
--what kind of price range, including monthly maintenance, of an apartment would I find?
--Considering the safety of these towns, which one is the best?
--What kind of rental income can I expect? Is it easy to find tenants in these neighborhoods?
--Any suggestion of the sub-areas of these towns to buy would be welcome.
--which one would have the best return of investment and future price increase potential?
--Which neighborhood has the best combination of all of the above?
If you have other neighborhood to suggest, it would be great.
