I know there are some tuition assistance available for veterans but I'm not aware of any that may be for online classes. Anyone have any information or experience with this?

Ive been lucky to have found a job right after I left the Navy in 2007. I make decent pay now but I fear I could be out of a job in a year or so due to some contracted work possibly ending. That and I dont feel that Im getting any new experience anymore. So Id like to expand my knowledge and obtain a degree or certifications. Online would be best since Im working full time now.

Well, depends in what field and what you would like to do. Some universities will offer a business degree online but not their psychology for example.

After my service in the Army I never pursued contract work because of the instability. Do you have any technical trade skills?

Look up CLEP/DSST testing through Charter Oak State College. Very inexpensive way to get a degree.
