Good and accurate list! I didn't grow up in the immediate Danbury area. I was close enough, though, and remember much of these.

mine would be 'it takes you 15 minutes to drive from exit 5 to exit 4 (or vice versa)'.

I am not from Danbury but do remember the Danbury State Fair which was on the site of the Danbury Fair Mall (get the name connection???). I also remember Marcus Dairy and the stock car races that were held every Saturday night during the summer. Jay

Never took me that long unless there was an accident! It does slow down but it's a short stretch.

Worse is where 84 meets 684 in the morning. I missed a flight because of that backup once.

i know, i'm exagerating. point is Danbury is an unbelievably congested area. liked the mall and the plaza next door with the Barnes&Noble though while i lived there.

IMO the only part of Danbury that is maddening to get across is Newtown Rd.
