I just looked over my cable bill from Cox and there is a snippet about them now applying a 1TB data cap per month limit. If you exceed the cap you can pay $10 per 50GB for extra data.

1 terabyte may seem like a lot of data, but I think its possible some people will exceed that cap. Last month alone I had about 300GB of data thru my Xbox one. Some of that data was gaming, but most was thru you tube or netflix.

Also, it's worthy to note that some new video games on the Xbox one or PS4 can be as large as 70GBs. Download just 3 of these large games and you're at 210GBs already.

I'm paying $69.99 per month for internet - you would think that's enough for "unlimited" data.

Send them as much negative feedback as possible to beat this down

Complaining won't do anything as long as they are still getting their money. You need to take a bite out of their revenue streams to have any effect.

I recently decided to end my cable relationship with Cox and am getting the amazon firestick. I too recently had some fee added to my already ridiculous $158/month cable/internet/phone charge.

I'm so sick of these cable companies ripping customers off, and finding ways to justify their never ending increasing prices yet subpar service and products.
