You're in the best area, as far as I'm concerned. And I used to know someone in Higganum a long time ago--I seem to remember swimming in a lake in Higganum. It seemed like a nice place to live.

And in the summer a roadside food stand opens, Higgy's. I used to go to that area to take pictures. I loved that area and eastern Ct. Good luck and enjoy exploring your new area - I am doing the same thing now.
