I am looking to get a couple of new appliances and would like to see them in person first. I am leaning towards a Bluestar fridge, and I am open to a brand of convection microwave - currently have a Dacor.

Litchfield/upper Fairfield/New Haven preferred.

Bluestar dealers are quite limited.

Looks like there's a few scattered about. Whether or not they'll have a fridge on display is another question, as they're more known for their ranges.

They aren't a Bluestar dealer, but I really like Marsillio's in Fairfield. I also had luck with Zemel's in Danbury way back.

I wound up getting a Miele dishwasher, because they last forever, and one of the new Bosch fridges. The Bosch is one of the only ones on market with dual compressors in a freestanding design. The B36CT81SNS is very similar to the Bluestar in appearance, they actually share several parts.

FWIW I had a great convection Breville microwave. Best microwave I've ever had. I am going Bosch though because I need a built-in, and Bosch just to match the fridge. Sharp makes all of those microwaves and they get rebranded.

There aren’t many independents left these days. We’ve had good luck with SK Lavery here in Glastonbury and Newington. They carry Bluestar but aren’t near you. Their Newington store is a complete Bluestar showroom. Up to you if it’s worth the trip. Jay

Looks like only Planet in Stamford has both a built-in and freestanding fridge on display

Definitely check our Associated Appliance in Monroe. We bought almost all of our new appliances from there when living in Fairfield County.
