I typically get some at WFoods; there are four locations "in my vicinity". One is Westport, who has some now, the other three, Milford, Fairfield, Danbury, do not and won't for a few weeks. I will be making a trip to Wprt, and hopefully there will be some there tomorrow.

I called Stew Leonard's in W.Ford, and they don't have any.

Any ideas on who else sells dry-aged beef?

Ridgefield Prime, Avon Prime, Carbone’s in Torrington all have dry aged.

How is the aged beef better?

Yesterday I saw a dazzling display of various aged beef at a deli. They look a lot different than what I get from Trader Joes! The prices of aged beef looks a lot higher too but they look like some very very quality cuts….

Are you cooking these just like you would any old steak? The aged meats look superior but they are out of my price range…….

I cook them the same; the dry-aged tastes a bit better and has a better consistency, IMO.


Yes, it is more money, but not that much. Tho it does add up at the end of the year.
