Hi Folks,

I recently moved to Manchester, CT with my family.
I am 34 and my wife is 30 and my daughter is ~3.

We are looking for your inputs to identify a good pediatrician for my daughter and a family doctor for me and my wife.

Though my insurance plan does not need a referral, we wanted to have a family doctor whom we can visit for the yearly physical and for regular medical advises.

Can you refer some.

Thanks in Advance.
Kumar

Bolton Family and Sports Medicine. They are about 1 mile into Bolton on RT44 (End of I384) so it's super easy to get too.

Husband and Wife team - Dan and Deb Huber with two other very good Doctors in place.

My wife, son and myself all go there. Dr Dan is my Dr and my wife see's Deb. Dr Buckman fills in for them time to time and is great as well.

I appreciate that Dan does just throw medication at things and really takes the time to find solutions outside of a prescription if he can. For instance, I had some bad sinus infections I could not shake. After talking with dan for about 45 minutes we came to the conclusion that a certain element in my work was causing it and instead of feeding me antibiotics, he suggest simple nasal rinse. Worked like a charm and I didn't have to "over do" the antibodies.

When my son was born, before I could even call their office, Dan AND Dr Buckman showed up at the hospital to see how he was doing...they found out through the grapevine my wife delivered!

They are always available and IMO a dying breed of traditional "family" doctors.

921 Boston Turnpike (RT44 right across from Bolton lake)

Good luck!

For pediatrician I recommedn Dr Leah Post in south windsor. After changinga couple of doctor, we finally have stuck with her. The other advantage is she is part of a group which is oncall 7 days so we can have a physician from the group to visit on Saturday & Sunday in case child gets ill.
