Could anyone tell me what my salary would be if I began teaching Middle School Science in New Haven with a Masters Degree and 12 years teaching experience in New York City?

Or could someone direct me to an official site with the pay steps?

Thank you

Here is the official website with the salary schedule: New Haven Public Schools - Welcome! (http://www.nhps.net/nhpsjobs/index.asp - broken link)

The salary schedule they've posted is from the 2007-2008 school year, but I imagine it would still give you a rough estimate of the current salary amounts.

If they give you credit for all twelve years, it's $70,331 for 2009-2010. The salary schedule can be found here:
http://www.nhps.net/nhpsjobs/HR/docs/ContractFinalJune62006.pdf (broken link)
You're looking for Appendix A (Salaries) on page 42.
Best of luck, if it's still relevant.
