I have a Technics receiver/amp that I connected a new Sangean WFT-1 Component Internet Tuner to, with two RCA cables.
No matter which jacks on the back of the Technics I used, I didn't get any sound coming out.
I used Phono, CD, Tuner (that gave me sound)Tape, TV, VC1, VCR2, VDP, Aux, and I got no sound.
Each device has it own button on the front, which I selected for it's use.
I know the Tape jack work, because I connected a dual deck cassette deck to it and it works just fine.
Could their be something wrong with the new Sangean?
It seems to work just fine, other than I can't get any sound out of it yet?
It should work on the CD or AUX so long as they are input jacks on the receiver. However, I was under the impression the jacks on the Sangean are 3.5 mm mono (one left, one right) and not RCA jacks. Can you double check the jack types?
Woah wait, does the original poster get lights? If so it's not DOA.
Well if he spent around $300 for this unit, he read the manual and has done the setup. The OP can test it by plugging headphones into the front of the unit.
Yes, It lights up, and I was able to configure the unit to connect to my Wi-Fi network, set stations into memory, everything else seems to work ok, just no sound?
And I just tried it today with headphones, and no sound.
What do you think?
I'm trying to explore all ideas, before I have to send it back to Amazon, you know?

Hi Rabrrita,
Nope the Sangean definitely uses RCA jacks and plugs.
The exact same connections as the Technics Receiver/amp has.
Only the headphone jack is 3.5mm.

The manual has a typo error. It has RCA jacks in the rear.
