... like what used to come with every VCR we ever bought.
Exactly that would do perfectly.

Where can they be bought?
The stores want to sell me made up RG6 cable which is too stiff

Thanks.

I think stores only want to stock one kind and since most people want RG6 they stock those

But you can get six foot patch cables with the more flexible RG-59 on Amazon

Not sure exactly what you seek, but try Monoprice.com ... they have lots of cables (and other stuff) in assorted lengths and types at good prices.

OP

Are you wanting coax cable or RCA coax cable? I think there has been some confusion injected by wording or lack thereof.

Coaxial actually covers a large group of standards
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coaxial_cable#Standards

The RG-59/Unshielded used to come with VCR's in short 3' or 6' lengths. It was considered adequate for most analog cable or analog connections to antennas.

It has largely been replaced by RG-6 as most signals are digital today. This cableh has a much thicker core and is harder to bend.

RG-59/U 75 ohm 0.64mm core
Used to carry baseband video in closed-circuit television, previously used for cable television. In general, it has poor shielding but will carry an HQ HD signal or video over short distances.

RG-6/U 75 ohm 1.024mm core
Low loss at high frequency for cable television, satellite television and cable modems

The F-type connector is much more common than

RCA connectors.

Yup I'm one of them. I can even send them to you. The inside of these are probably steel versus copper.

Some of the CCTV coax is really flexible, but you have to change the ends to TV antenna, Type F.
