Took my 55" edge lite 4K LED out of the living area and put it in the bedroom; replacing a 46 inch that is now in my exercise room. Replaced the 55" with a 65" 4K FULL Array LED. Size is perfect and the blacks are lot better due to the full array vs, the edge lit. Since I was looking only for Sony, and I have a bad habit of pausing the TV for hours at a time, I didn't want to chance a burn in with an OLED design.

I just returned a 65" LG OLED to the store after a week. It wasn't really working in the room due to the brightness during the day. And another thing is that screen, it is so thin, and fragile. I don't know why they don't beef it up some. I move around enough, that the possibility of damage is too great. I will be looking for a QLED now instead, but dang that picture on the OLED is something.

The only justification needed is “I want it”.

Because we don't want beefy screens?!? I've never heard this complaint "I took it back because it was.... too thin and fragile"?!? Really? Hard on TV's, are ya?

When moving my 120+ pound 80” I would have loved lighter.

The nice thing about thinner bezels is you can fit more screen in the same space. My 12 year old 52” (used by the kids for gaming) looks positively antique now.

In a conversation re: best inventions mine was "Flat screen monitors and TV's". I can carry 4 monitors at once. or a TV alone.
