If anyone is interested there are some pictures of the first passanger train ride on the new Rail/trail between Algood and Monterey. If you go to hilltopexpress.net today on the Jan 24 online paper, page 9&10.

Dont know if its good or bad for me. Its one block from the house Im trying to sell! We need a hotel, but I wish it wasnt so close.

What great pictures! I particularly liked seeing Crazy George's Bridge from the train's point of view.

I can't wait for the trail to be completed between Monterey and Cookeville.

I'm with you JMT! I can't wait!

I wish I'd been able to take that train ride they went on! First ride out the Crawford Branch in maybe 60-70 years!
