I doubt they'll let him keep his springy-thingy's. He's gonna find it difficult to exercise in the "yard" with just stumps for legs. He's basically going to be at exactly the right height to provide service of an oral kind to keep himself alive.

Justice can be a cruel Mistress but very poetic in her application of it sometimes.

I think the dude was a hot headed control freak. Did he plan this ahead (premeditated?)...no. Just 'lost his temper', in that psycho way he often did. This time she got shot. He gets off on pre-med. Maybe does time on a lesser charge.

I agree. I listened to his testimony yesterday. The prosecutor is cutting him to ribbons. Nothing he says happened makes sense. I think he lost his temper, and as was his wont, he shot the gun through the bathroom door. Did he mean to kill her? Probably not, but may be in a loss of control moment, he meant to frighten her. Either way, he needs to be taught a lesson. Shame he didn't have to learn it by the killing of his innocent girlfriend.

That's what roids and insecurity this man had, equaled. A loss of control in a moment. I'm sure he wishes he could take it back, but he can't. His, "OMG what did I just do" moment that began five seconds after he pulled the trigger will now last the rest of his life.

I have been in disbelief of this murder from the beginning.
The more I hear from the trial...about his temper, shooting his gun in a RESTAURANT
out of a sunroof?

As IF he thought a burglar was behind a closed bathroom door.
Come on!!
The saddest part here is South Africa has no death penalty otherwise that waste of skin would qualify for such honors.

Absolutely guilty. The first time I read about the circumstances of her killing I couldn't help but think how inconceivable it would be to shoot through a locked bathroom door without first checking on where his GF was. He keeps throwing up and coming apart in court because he knows he's in for a long prison sentence and destroyed what might have been a long & lucrative career over the murder of his GF. What a sorry SOB.

I think he's innocent. Shooting into a closed bathroom door four times is completely normal.

( Just wanted to see if you were awake.)

So, he should not be charged because he's handicapped? Do you know what kind of precedent that kind of ruling would set? Every disabled person on the planet would kill their nemeses knowing their disability will give them a "get out of jail free" card.

Why is his disability even a factor here? Granted, he was at a disadvantage if he would have truly been faced with an intruder, but that doesn't give him the right to shoot through a closed and LOCKED door.

Maybe when you TRY to steal a crippled man's hard-earned Riches, bad things might happen. Poor man was in a life and death struggle to STAY ALIVE......and look how he is treated!!!!!!!
