Billy Mays died at the same time too so there is not really a 'rule of three'. South Park even dedicated an episode to the dying celebrities phenomena called 'Dead Celebrities'.
it would be kid of sad for the family of a celebrity such as Billy Mays to think your loved one got "bumped" from the 'rule of 3' in favor of a bigger (Johnny-Come-Lately) star who died several days later.
My friends were counting Elaine Stritch as the third (or the first, actually) on FB this morning.
For the purposes of this thread and the idea of it, anyone who passed last month wouldn't count, it has to be within like a week or so of each other. And I have never heard of Elaine Stritch but I looked her up and sort of recognize her.
I think Clint Eastwood is still healthy and doing well right now, isn't he? Is he still in politics?
Hey not to hijack my own thread but did you see that Sam Elliott turned 70 this week!! Man time flies!

If we're talking the "Hi, I'm Billy Mays....here to talk about Orange Clean" guy, it's even more pathetic and sad that they would put him in the same category as a star or celebrity. He wouldn't even be a D list celebrity.

I'm going to go with the sole-surviving Golden Girl, Betty White, being dead by the end of the week. Man do I hope I'm wrong about this. She seems to be in good health, and I want her to live to 115.
