THIS is precisely why the law abiding citizens who actually NEED and appreciate the help they get are ostracized and looked down on. Because of trash like this. I don't know how businesses get away with this stuff either. On my job my cash register would be a big block to any such thing.
I wish massachusetts would crack down like this. There are way too many people taking advantage of public aide costing us Millions of dollars.
Assistance programs used to be used like a crutch to help those get back on their feet but now it is more like a wheelchair for the dishonest to roll through life.
Meanwhile, we still await any serious criminal charges against those responsible for the crash of 2008. Remember kids, if you're going to defraud, think big. That way, not only will you get away with it, you'll attract millions in government subsidies and bonuses from your own crooked employers.

I'm from Mass. originally and I agree that state is absurd. Remember the case of the firefighter who was getting some ridiculous disability pension for a back injury and he was out competing in bodybuilding competitions? And the freaking jury voted to let him keep his benefits.
My mom was recently hospitalized in Boston and her roommate was this obese white lady who was there with complications due to cigarette smoking. My mom said the whole time she was there, her and her husband were trying to come up with ways to get more welfare and food stamps out of the State. It's ridiculous.
I'd be surprised if they weren't, it's like 85% white there.
