Yet another tragic shooting involving very young. Jeezus.

Police: 3-year-old shoots, kills 1-year-old boy in Ohio home

Quote:
A 3-year-old boy picked up an unattended gun inside a home and it went off, shooting a 1-year-old boy in the head and killing him Sunday afternoon, police said.

Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams said investigators are trying to determine where the gun came from.

Emergency workers said the 1-year-old was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.

This is tragic... the parents should surely be punished. Still... I always find it interesting how we are allowed to kill 8 month old babies in the womb but somehow if they are out of the womb suddenly it's a murder charge if the mother is found to have done it. Not much common sense there.

Cue the liberal nannies who want to ban guns to protect everyone from themselves....

This is clearly the guns fault, not the parents. It should have realized that irresponsible people left it in an unsafe location, then moved itself out of reach of the children...

I'm pretty sure it's illegal in most states to not have a gun locked up. The parents will be most likely punished, and rightly so.

The gun will also probably be arrested for murder.

This could have been prevented if the 1 year old was armed as well.

I was thinking the same thing. Where is the NRA on this? How did they let this poor one year old begin the day without a piece strapped to his chest?

Just when you think that the NRA has got us covered with guns in every home, every park, every classroom, every mall, and every church, we see a situation like this where they fail to get this kid armed first thing in the morning.

Sheesh.
