Even for religious lunatics these guys make Westboro appear sane. I've had the opportunity to listen in on their street corner, preaching/ranting/ramblings, and I swear that they are recently released patients of some sort of mental hospital.
I'd just record them and call the cops on 'em for making terroristic threats as soon as they started with that stuff. What they're doing is harassment though, so it amazes me that no one calls the cops and has them shooed away.
I seen them in DC as well as the Hampton Roads areas. What I don't understand is why people continue to engage these individuals. Just keep walking and ignore them. They are not worth your time.
I get to see these guys on occasion when I head to lunch in Chinatown (noodle express is the jam). It is always funny to me the folks that gather around, not to take in what they are "preaching", but just to take in the ridiculousness that is them. Frickin' looney toons. Best to laugh at them, and don't engage the real life trolls.

Yeah they are usually out there every Friday afternoon. They are nuts.
The public should just walk past and ignore them, rather than engage them in anger. This is something for law enforcement to handle, not the individual. Does this city not have police cruisers driving by? Why has nobody called the cops? There's a limit to "free speech".
I think they are just taping a segment for the Daily Show. Or the Blaze.
