After a second viewing, it looks like the plane has a completely hollow wing with covering material over and under the framework - and the cat was sitting safe inside the wing. Safe, but probably windy and noisy. It probably would not have come through or fallen, but it certainly was on an exciting and probably terrifying adventure. You never know, after a few rides it may get to like it.

I still don't see how the pilot could have missed it on inspection though.

There ya go! Some pre-flight that must have been to not have noticed the big dark lump in between two layers of translucent fabric of the wing. Cripes!

That would be the first and last time I would fly with that guy. If you missed the cat, what the hell else did he miss?
