The statement is not really that outrageous, he was comparing jihadists as a % of the muslim population to nazis as a percentage of the German population.
That said it was pretty stupid for a public figure like him who wants to stay employed by the media to post.

No? Well, neither do I. You didn't have any problem with that. You, like almost all of those who whine about 'political correctness', conveniently define it as only those speech codes you dislike. All the ones you happen to like? You magically redefine them as not being 'PC' for no objective reason. What makes the assertion of 'political correctness' when used by you and almost everyone else who uses it as just a vague epithet, a dismissive attempt to decline to actually address substance by flinging out your favorite pet term.
