Rest in peace, a true hero in a world that has cheapened the term 'hero.'

11-year-old boy dies saving little sister from oncoming car - AOL

Quote:
La'Darious Wylie was waiting for the school bus with his little sister, Shavonte near their house in Chester, SC last week when a car came towards the children, WBTV reported.

The car veered of the road and struck La'Darious, critically injuring the fifth-grader, police said.

The boy's family told WBTV that the 11-year-old had pushed his sister out of the way of the oncoming car before he was struck, sacrificing his life to save hers.

This little boy had more class and and selflessness than most adults. My heart hurts for his family.

Very profound for an 11 year old to think of his sister first. May he rest in peace.

I can not imagine the storm they will weather, but hopefully knowing that their son (and her brother) laid down his life will bring comfort.
