My son was badly burned & it took him a long time to go out in public. No one in that situation should have to go through the stares & comments but they are there.

It does, indeed, take all kinds.
By the same token, being a low-end fast food/service worker doesn't exempt you from being a human being. Some of these folks tend to resent their economic situation and take it out on their customers.
This guy should have been given the opportunity to keep his job... after he spent some public service time in the local hospital burn ward.
Yep, stupid remark by a stupid kid, but probably not the first he's heard nor will it be the last I'm sure. Getting so sick and tired of all the people who think being insulted is somehow newsworthy and go running to the media with it. I'm waiting for someone to go to the local tv station to report that I rolled my eyes at them.
