That is “Pastafarian” the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

“If people are given the right to wear religious garments in government ID photos, then this must extend to people who follow the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster,” said David Niose, legal director of the Appignani Humanist Legal Center.

I believe a politician got sworn in with a colander on his head before.

Fun times.

One created by a Flying Spaghetti Monster or one created by an entity that once killed everyone on the face of the earth after folks ticked him off.

Personally, I'm torn on which paradigm to run with...

The whole point of the DMV photo is to identify you. Her face and hair are visible, so the goals have been achieved. And I'd bet anything that there's copies of that photo hanging on the Stupid Photos wall, so win-win for everyone.

Default Well, she's obviously not an Orthodox Pastafarian

Because Orthodox Pastafarians would never leave the house without a fringe of Brussels Sprout tassels dangling from the Collander's rim. Nor would they neglect to insert dried strands of Cappellini (Angel Hair) into the Colander's many holes, to achieve a sort of halo effect: "Be thou like the rays of the Sun, that thine Cappellini might radiate."
