LOL! You must be a Russian troll. Putin is allied with Assad, and hasn't even been bombing ISIS.
And yeah, it makes a lot of sense for Israel and the U.S. to be "arming and funding" Islamic terrorists like ISIS. I hear Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny are involved too!
.
The US-led Coalition hasn't bombed ISIS either actually with an abysmal number of sorties (in a year less than in one week during the Kosovo war).
It's true that Russia targets also (or even mostly) the Syrian rebels (alias Al-Nusra and affiliates because the "moderates" have been long gone) but that's just to protect their interests in the same way the US has destabilised many areas in the world and done unspeakable things all over the world.
Second, there are many suspicious clues about a US involvement, in the best of cases indirectly, in the funding and success of ISIS since last summer 2014.
Nothing is black or white: Russians are no worse than Americans in this way but they are for sure less responsible for this madness than the US.
Friedman sounds like a dope. Just calling things what they are.
Russia has already cut ISIS Oil funding in half. From $3 Million a day to $1.5 Million
(while Turkey, Saudi, US and Israel have been supporting the Arming and Funding of ISIS)
Russia has grounded Turkey's (US Proxy) F-16 adventures into Syria (S-400s will knock them down).
Russia is making gains on the Ground with the legit Syrian Army.
Looking ahead, ISIS will likely be shoved into Iraq -- where the US can deal with them . . . or continue to Arm and Fund them . . . or not.
If you think Friedman is a dope, you should see this clip of him defending the invasion of Iraq. He says the Iraq war was about telling Muslims to "suck on this".
He repeats the lie that Iraq was somehow responsible for 9/11 or was tied to the terrorism that spawned 9/11. Everyone knows that the primary sponsors were in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, which qualifies the event as either a blowback for US cooperation with these states in sponsoring terrorism elsewhere or a false flag event targeted at freeing the US to use direct military force in the ME.

Sen. John McCain outed the US when he said 75 percent of the sorties come back without dropping any bombs. There are so many cooks in this military intervention soup that they sometimes contradict each other.
Gen. Michael Flynn came out last summer and said we knew we were creating extreme salafist forces to fight Assad as far back as 2012.
Color, Black and White, Maps, Radar, Aerial and Video.
Pretty much looks like US, Saudi, Turkey and Israel are just a pack of Lying D-Bags, and State Sponsors of Terrorism.
Sad Day for US.
