Theft of Firearms is a very serious offence and could see the criminal convicted of it sent to prison for 10 years or more, anyone want to take bets that the charges are plead down to a minor felony, with a sentence of a year or less?
but yet we here over and over how we need more gun laws.
How about we enforce the laws we have now, no plea bargains, you do the crime you do the time!
I'm surprised that the shotguns were not locked up in a gun safe.
Whenever I have contractors at the house, I'll always check the doors and windows after they've gone to make sure that they are locked. Though I've never had any problems, I've heard stories about workers who have unlocked doors or windows during the day while they're working, then return at night to rob the place when they're not being watched by their coworkers.
Forwarding this report to my sister in law. Countless times I've warned them about letting in strangers, albeit contractors, into the house without supervision. This bastard is lucky he went to that particular house. I know times are tough but that's no reason to violate people's home. You have a job and should tailor your holiday needs according to your situation. Absolutely no sympathy for him.
I guess the honest hard working tech became dishonest when he saw the guns. Legal guns that almost went home with a criminal.
OMG!!!!!!!! Turning a post about disreputable repairmen and installers who are thieves and the need to watch them into an anti gun thread on the second post.
Wow, a new record for lunacy on CD
