What's Next??

Affulenza - "Geez" !!!! - is this a twisted word for Greed? or is it the level beyond greed of which describes Avarice, where one is consumed with consumption, until they are blinded to the reality and "don't care" about the consequences, because they feel exempt from fault or liability due to having "money" and insatiable lusting or craving for more?

Quote:
They argue that affluenza causes overconsumption, "luxury fever," consumer debt, overwork, waste, and harm to the environment. These pressures lead to "psychological disorders, alienation and distress," causing people to "self-medicate with mood-altering drugs and excessive alcohol consumption.
Well, it appears that "The Poor", should be able to use this as a defense as well as the wealthy kid Ethan Couch used it.
Who is "The Poor" (women, minorities and poor whites).

So, when these member of "The Poor" groups commit crimes, could they get off claiming "Affulenza", or "Reverse Affulenza" as their Defense?
and simply claim they have distress from lack of fulfilling Luxury Fever, over burdened by consumer debt, waste and distressed by the harms they do and see to the environment and the pressures of ghetto environment and imagery, the burden of limited pay for overwork, or the limited options due to lack of work?

Case:
Quote:
In December 2013, State District Judge Jean Boyd sentenced a North Texas teenager, Ethan Couch,to 10 years' probation for driving under the influence and killing four pedestrians and injuring after his attorneys successfully argued that the teen suffered from affluenza and needed rehabilitation, and not prison. The lawyers had argued that Couch was unable to understand the consequences of his actions because of his financial privilege.
Question: should our poor have the options of using, guttersnip, indigent, or such words as a defense?

No matter what the rationalization, anyone who can not live within society should be removed from society. Too spoiled to learn consideration or that a crime or murder is wrong? Fine, you don't need to be allowed to wander around loose.

At some point the law is going to have no choice but to dispense justice with a sense of equilibrium. Heck young black kids are going to the morgue rather than a courtroom, and this is too frequently for not killing anyone and being unarmed.
The judges hand out 20 yrs to the Poor like its nothing, because they are viewed with a negativity simply because of the ramification and realities which exist within poverty and impoverished community.

Show after show on Crime TV- showing wealthy people killing each other like its a pick and choose party, they don't even make the mainstream news, but later comes back as a "crime tv story" with polished attractive actors and actress portraying them, and suddenly the media makes it not so bad, because the actors fit the desirable image pushed my Model Tv character imagery, and some people get to walk free or with wrist slaps.

Look at the sad reality of life in the American Justice Arena, "John Hinkley",
Quote:
The man who DELIBERATELY shot President Ronald Reagan wants more than anything to “fit in” and be “a good citizen.” He tried to get a fast-food job, and loves to drive.
The big question is - how is he even out to be able to drive a car and seek a job, after shooting The President of the United States. (now that's absurd). But its people (STILL) in jail serving more time than he did for one brick of drugs or some theft that happen 4 decades ago. Hinkley should never get out of prison for trying to kill A President.

Big money had to change hands to get this kid off under the claim of Affluenza !!!!!!
