I give Hollande credit for this one. Why should everyone have to bow down to demands of no alcohol be allowed on the table? If you want a Halal meal, that's fine. But don't tell other people how to dine.

If you visit someone else's home or country you should be ready to accept their customs. If the guy didn't want wine he could have turned his glass upside down or simply refused when it came around.

The Islamic fanaticism of the Iranians is totally supremacist. It is the ultimate expression of an arrogance that believes it has an innate right to dominate and rule the world. It demands that all "Other" bow down to it, no matter what the circumstances.
