Knife reportedly found on ex-O.J. Simpson estate, police say - CNN.com

Funny how this happens just as there's a hit show about the case on TV. Kinda reminds you of the Robert Durst/The Jinx timing, huh?

The LAPD is nothing if not fame-crazy.

If true, shouldn't the cop be arrested for withholding evidence?

If I understand correctly, it was found on the property after the trial.

Yes, but since OJ was found not guilty then the case was still open. Theoretically, the knife could have pointed to the real killer.

The accounts I have read said the cop is retiring and turned it in recently. And yes they are considering what if any charged can be brought for withholding evidence.

I highly doubt anything comes of this but it it does test out as the murder weapon I'd love to hear from some of the jury members.
