That young woman is hardly a "cow." She's a beautiful woman with a little more meat on her bones. Beauty DOES come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. I say that a woman who's always been slim, btw.
Same here.
I've always been thin; it runs in the family. And I've always thought it unfair how the industry views women of varying sizes.
And let's talk turkey here: when Sports Illustrated publishes ONE swimsuit edition featuring a woman like Ashley, then I'll be impressed.
more like she SUFFERED to stay on the spot light!! and now these gals can eat and still make le' money and fame. HAHAHA
I was still fairly young when she was a big model. Most women do not have their eggs all in one looks basket. She probably did. too bad, we all get old and lose the beauty of youth. No sweat for most of us.
I think plus sized models are fabulous . I like to look at attractive women of all shapes and sizes. That's not my issue. My issue is health. Its very hard for the majority of Americans to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I have seen middle school BASKETBALL teams where everyone is fat and wheezing up the court. Even our pro baseball players making millions can't stay healthy. Our diet is killing us. Sugar, fat, salt and processed empty calories are ruining our health.
I was chubby and sis was skinny and my grands same thing-little of both--and we are all beautiful! As for food source ? now blame that on Mr big bucks $$$- even have wood chips in the cheese and sugar in everything else--they are killing us for their profits - for modeling- should NOT be just one type of gal- do we blame that on men? the war? I find that other countries are not as obsessed with tall skinny legs
""I don't like that we're talking about full-figured women because it's glamorizing them because your waist should be smaller than 35" inches, Tiegs said at the 13th annual Global Green USA Pre-Oscar Party. "That's what Dr. Oz said, and I'm sticking to it. I don't think it's healthy. Her face is beautiful. Beautiful. But I don't think it's healthy in the long run.""
Is this another case of our "everyone is a winner!" society, putting someone on the cover that many would call overweight?
No.
Sadly, I think this is a case of an old, irrelevant, has-been model being jealous of the new kid on the block.
Some reporter came asking for her opinion, which she is entitled to.
I won't remember Ashley Graham in 32 years let's see what she looks like then.
