Scary, looks like a serial shooter killer.

A serial killer might be on the loose in Tampa, Florida.

Police are warning people not to walk alone at night in the Seminole Heights neighborhood after a third person in 10 days was shot to death on Thursday night.

As CBS News correspondent Manuel Bojorquez reports, police seem certain their murders are all connected, even though the victims did not appear to know one another.

I'm in Boca Raton. I just returned from my usual routine walk, which takes me around the local hospital and down a neighborhood street that's almost abandoned after dark.
I was pretty damn vigilant this time around. I know that, for now, the victims are confined to Tampa but it's been 3 days since the last body was found. He could be anywhere by now, including South Florida, seeking out prey and waiting to strike again.
We have the right to be anxious.

Scary. I went to school in that neighborhood and a lot of kids who live nearby walk home. There are also several places close by for teachers to walk to for lunch or a snack after school or sports that have fairly limited parking, so people have to park in the side streets not on the main road.

You might want to walk at the gym for a while. A shooter could be o0nm top of a building, behind a closed window -- anywhere you can't easily see him.

I'm glad the witness was able to provide a description to the authorities.

It is Florida and reasonable CCW laws.

Maybe we the public will get lucky.

Yes and everyone has the right to protect theirselves so I say arm yourselves and be vigilant in locking your doors and windows . I'm rather on edge as I have family in that area as well . Don't dwell some place either , get in your car and lock all doors and get home asap . You have to protect yourself nowadays especially when a serial killer is on the loose .

Someone always pops up and says "arm yourself." I don't see how packing a gun is going to protect you from a guy like this. He's not going to challenge you to a duel, you know!
