Would have loved to see the looks on their faces when they realized that, of all the pawn shops they could have gone to, they went to the one of the victim.

If their fellow inmates find out the details they will never let them live it down!

Two thieves broke into a house, stealing two Playstations, video games, and DVDs. They then did what many other criminals do to get rid of stolen items: take them to a pawn shop. Only these thieves ran into one small problem: The owner was the one the thieves stole from.

The police were called, and they were arrested for aggravated burglary.
I can appreciate a story with a happy ending.

Thieves, are the most stupid people on earth. They don't even deserve to live that's how stupid they are.

Not all of them are stupid. We've had some doozies where I live. Chick works for Brinks, drives off with the truck ( everyone assuming she's been jacked ), parks that thing in a storage unit she prepaid for months. She walked with over a million bucks.

On the flip side, do you all remember those light-up sneakers that were so popular years ago? I remember cops on the footage laughing their butts off as this moron tried to run and hide.

Note to these burglars; find another line of work.
They're too stupid for another line of work. Along with being too stupid for the line of work they're in, that leaves them kind of SOL.

They will probably sue the home owner/pawn shop owner for entrapment. He never should have bought those items for himself since it only served to entice otherwise good citizens to steal.

He compounded the problem by operating a business that rewards a person for bringing in stolen items.

Stop! You live in California: stolen land! Perhaps you're a fan of museums: stolen artifacts! Scientists who rob graves are called archaeologists. Thievery is par for the course!
