Why was he arrested? I'm also confused about why he was printing up boarding passes but not using them (apparently). Weird story... but that airport is amazing. No wonder he didn't want to leave.

I'm guessing it's so he could gain access to the airline lounges. Most airlines have first and business class lounges for so their wealthy patrons don't have to interact with all of the peasants in the main section of the airport. Plus they often have food and showers.
I actually enjoy being in airports. So I kind of get this. But 18 days? No, I don't think I could have handled it that long.
I like airports too, but only for a few hours at the most.
