Some seriously whacked out creeps running around.

Imagine waking up to that.

An Arizona father was awakened by the cries of his 2-year-old daughter Thursday night, only to find her in their living room on the lap of a stranger, authorities said.

The stranger was identified by police as Oren Cohen, a 34-year-old Israeli citizen in the US legally.

Wow, that dad had to try to restrain him for 10 minutes till the cops got there. I bet it felt like an eternity.

Oren's lucky to be alive. If I'd have found him in my house, he'd be shot. Not taking any chances with my family.

The father showed great restraint, I can't imagine what he thought waking to find a man holding his little girl.

I fell asleep in my recliner while watching TV. I woke up to someone crouched at the foot of the chair, it looked those pictures of a Mexican in the large sombero with his knees drawn up and his head and arms on his knees. It was as much a form as anything in the light from the hallway. I croaked out, "who are you and what are you doing here.....?"
I THINK he said, "I'm sick". To be honest, I think I blacked out from fright. The next thing I knew, he was gone. I jumped up and ran into the bedroom to wake my husband and he said, " I thought I felt someone running their hand over my side earlier....." (He sleeps on his side and is a big man). All the lights seem to be on in the house and as we went through the house, we saw the kitchen door into the garage and a door that led to the patio was standing open.

I think it was someone who was either in a drunk blackout or was drugged to the hilt. For some reason, I thought the person might be a young adult. They must have become disoriented and just wandering around and found one of our doors open. My family considered we were supremely lucky that it was not some crazy person. We do live close to some rental apts that house transients, laborers and lower income families, of which SOME are very nice. It was very scary. I do have a shotgun in the house but I thank God I did not even think of it and all ended well except for my
adding a few more gray hairs to my head......

We used to live next door to a home for mentally disabled people (they seemed to care for people with mental illness and cognitive disabilities...it was a while back). We woke up with strangers in our house more then once. Once in bed with my parents.

Ya know...it happens.

That's what I was wondering. It stops people from wandering in in the middle of the night
