Now, THAT is massive cool. Poor little dude, and these guys pulled it out of the pits for him. How it must make such a young kid feel to be ostracized like that. On his Birthday even. And what's with the parents of all those other kids? Nobody out of 19 people would even try? That's just wrong. Well, this is truly heroic stuff. I find that title to be an overused one a lot these days, but I'll apply it in this one. These people turned a crushing blow to a little boy into a hand up and he went to bed that night smiling, not crying.

Doesn't get any better than that.

Great story! The kid will have something great to remember from that day. Nice to see a good story in a sea of news that showcases political devide, violence, and other assorted madness.

God Bless those Cops & Firemen.

When my brother was was having this 8th birthday the same happened to him. It was heartbreaking to watch & my brother was so confused. I was the oldest at age 10 & my other brother was only 6 at the time. So my youngest brother just said more cake for us & we celebrated anyway. We played all the birthday games & distributed the games prizes to each other & with my parents. I remember that even though my brother was disappointed...he knew who he could always count on to be there for him.
