I use one of those pressurized whipped cream dispensers every morning for my coffee. I only need one dollop, so it wouldn't be practical to whip up a batch every morning. And I don't know what kind you're talking about, that you scoop out of a jar. Do you mean Cool Whip in a plastic container? (Yuck)
At any rate, this is a horrible tragedy, and may make me rethink my coffee add-ins.
Whip the cream and put dollops on a tray until frozen, bag up and have individual servings.
Some people use ice cube trays
The disposable cans you can buy at the store might be a safer choice. I've never heard of anyone being injured by one.
Ya never know, someone, somewhere, probably managed to get into an explosion with one. But seriously, that stuff is full of ingredients other than cream. I prefer the taste of real whipped cream.

Now there is an idea I might try. I had no idea whipped cream could be frozen. Hey, this would also cool my coffee to drinkable temperature right away!
Of all the ways to meet your maker, who could imagine that they would die at the hands of a faulty dessert topping dispenser. RIP Ms. Burger.
That is sort of what they said about William Holden.
"Billy Wilder on Holden's death: "If someone had said to me, 'Holden's dead,' I would have assumed that he had been gored by a water buffalo in Kenya, that he had died in a plane crash approaching Hong Kong, that a crazed, jealous woman had shot him, and he drowned in a swimming pool. But to be killed by a bottle of vodka and a night table - what a lousy fade-out of a great guy!"." (from imdb)
