What is wrong with some people. This guy punches the waitress and it's a heavy punch, not a light one. He is not a small guy either. He is a regular at the restaurant and it's all on video so I have no doubt he will be caught. It was pretty brutal. He needs to be locked up for quite a while.
He probably has an IQ of a toy poodle thus his actions. I'd be fine with locking him away for a very long time where he will be defending himself from such attacks daily (hopefully).

therefore reacting in in a violent, abusive manner.

Poodles are actually a very, very smart breed. You're overestimating this guys IQ significantly.

Good that they know his identity and are looking for him. That wasn't the first time he punched someone weaker in the face for nothing, I can tell you that.
